Opening in 3D!

So today i've started working on the start of my animation-  


These are 2 stills from my house made in 3D on Maya.
First I had to decide on how I was going to do the process of the beginning, I WAS going to just roto the house in Photoshop. But I thought against that because getting the textures to look the same would be insane.
So, I started to texture the house in PS then apply them into Maya, for then to after roto the outlines in PS.

Then using 2D planes in Maya, I started making the trees for around the house, and the flooring/background.



Arranging them like this gives a sense of distance.

Then I thought about adding a toon shader on the house itself. This would save me a hell of alot of time going over the outlines in PS.
